Hi, I’m Abigeal Kemisola, the founder of Purpliish Beauty Academy, a proud Registered Nurse and a passionate cosmetic formulator with over 4 years of experience in the skincare industry. My journey into cosmetic science was born from a deep love for skin health and a calling to merge medical knowledge with beauty innovation.

With my background in nursing, I understand the importance of caring for the body and the skin, being our largest organ, deserves just as much attention and intention. I believe skincare should go beyond trends. It should be safe, science-backed, and truly effective, designed to nourish, restore, and transform.

What started as a personal passion has now evolved into a powerful movement. I have had the incredible opportunity to teach and mentor over 500 students across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Côte d’Ivoire, the UK, the US, and South Africa , helping beauty entrepreneurs, skincare vendors, and aspiring formulators gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to build ethical skincare brands.

At Purpliish Beauty Academy, I’ve made it my mission to bridge the gap between science and formulation. We don’t just teach recipes; we teach you the why, the how, and the what-if , so you can create confidently, formulate safely, and stand out in an ever-evolving industry.

When I’m not formulating or teaching, I’m researching, testing, and staying ahead of new ingredients and global skincare standards to ensure that everything we teach is current, safe, and effective.

My dream is simple: to see African-owned skincare brands thrive globally, and to make science-driven skincare education accessible to every woman who dares to dream big.
